About us
PlymDAB is a collaboration between Hospital Radio Plymouth, community station Phonic FM; Westward Media and Devon's commercial station Radio Exe.
We’ve been chosen by Ofcom to provide the digital radio infrastructure in the area so that other stations can broadcast on DAB+.
We aim to be a great community asset, with space for five community radio stations as well as up to 20 others.
We went on air towards the end of 2023, broadcasting to around 290,000 listeners.
